First introduced in March 2000, the Audi R8 has been a dominant player in the ALMS field winning the 24 Hours of Le Mans five times, and all three titles in the American Le Mans Series (ALMS) six times in succession. In 77 races to date, the Audi racecar celebrated 61 wins. Needless to say, Audi, and the entire racing world, have high expectations for this latest, next generation racecar.
