Aston Martin automobiles have never been the best "numbers" cars. That is, when you compare 0-60 times or top speeds, Astons seldom come out on top. If that's all there was to comparing and evaluating GT cars, then the buyers of such cars would seldom, if ever, spend a hefty sum on a Vanquish or a DB9. Fortunately enough for Aston Martin and 007, some buyers at that level will look beyond raw numbers to the more subjective aspects of the car. And that's precisely where an Aston Martin presents itself to best advantage.
